시리얼 통신에서 crc 체크로 많이 사용하는 crc16은 송수신에 대한 오류 검색을 정확하게 판단할 수 있는 방법을 제공하지만 같은 crc16을 사용한다고 하지만 공개된 소스를 보면 소스마다 계산하는 방법이 틀립니다.

계산 방법이 같더라도 사용하는 crc 테이블이 틀린 경우도 많습니다. 상수를 사용하는 경우도 있지만 실행할 때 공식으로 생성하는 경우도 있습니다. 물론 이런 특징 때문에 시스템을 외부로부터 보호 받을 수 있겠습니다만 여하튼 상대방과 미리 crc16을 계산하는 방법을 미리 통일하지 않으면 낭패를 보게 됩니다.
