드라이버의 PPP 디바이스를 활성화 시켜도 계속 커널에서 찾을수 없다고 하네요

./pppd: This system lacks kernel support for PPP. This could be because
the PPP kernel module could not be loaded, or because PPP was not
included in the kernel configuration. If PPP was included as a
module, try `/sbin/modprobe -v ppp'.
